The Impatient Sewist

Sewing is by far my greatest hobby. My Oma taught my how to sew when I was young and it’s something I’ve always been drawn to. I like to think that my sewing journey started properly in 2019 though, when I decided to stop cutting corners and focus on making things that would last.

I love sewing with wovens and I’m always chasing the perfect fit. Whenever possible I’ll do pattern-matching with prints, it’s just so satisfying when the garment is done. Silk and bias-cut patterns terrify me. We’ll see if I tackle those some day.
